Sentiment
sentiment
Sentiment is a daily texting service prompting users to check in with themselves and their loved ones.
In March of 2020 I founded Sentiment with my former roommate as a tool to help people feel less alone. We’ve continued sending daily texts for over a year and have a member base of over 400 individuals across the country.
our mission
To find a way to help people cope with their mental health in a non-intimidating and familiar way.
user study
To better understand how isolation due to COVID-19 affected mental health, we conducted a Quarantine Well-Being survey in April 2020.
our findings
Over 50 individuals were eager to complete this survey, answering simple questions like: “How are you feeling?” and “What are your most pressing concerns at the moment?”
We received a range of feedback, and one of the most interesting points we found was that individuals found comfort in the act of filling out the survey and reflecting on their emotions.

our product
Our daily texting service is powered by Community, an application that allows creators to connect directly to an audience through text messaging at scale. Each text is sent by myself or my co-founder and users have the ability to respond to texts as they wish.
